New in / Colored jeans and t-shirts

T-shirt with print, ‘do you understand the difference between like and love <3’ from Zara
T-shirt with golden application from Costes
Pink jeans from Pieces
Mintgreen jeans from LTB jeans

Two printed shirts, as I wished on my June inspiration list. Colored jeans, which girl can’t get enough of these. I already owned a pink, but unfortunately because of weight loss this one got to big. I really wanted to own a mint green (see June inspiration list). I am ready for the summer.

Diary / week 22

4 days of weekend, 4 days of sun, 4 days of fun. A little view into my beautiful and stylish weekend.

1. I enjoyed this view at sunset lounge for three long days, lovely!
2. I received my first Glossybox (see previous blogpost)
3. Hotpink on a spring day.
4. Yummy breakfast with strawberries.
5. New in: outfit from my June wishlist, mintgreen jeans from LTB and beige t-shirt with golden application from Costes.
6. New in: yellow nailpolish from L’oreal (number 302).

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend? What was your weekend highlight?

New in / Glossybox

So I finally received my first beautybox. I totally Glossybox forgot that I ordered it after my blog post in April about the different beauty boxes out there. Which was a good suprise, because it feels like receiving a present…love it <3…

So how does the concept work. You order the box monthly and pay 12,50 euros, you receive 5/6 beautyproducts which are based on your personal profile (style, likes, dislikes, preferences). The normal price of the beautyproducts together are somewhere between 50-100 euros. So this is a real good deal. If you write enough reviews or invite friends you even receive the box for free.

This month the theme was ‘Affordable Favorite’ which the staff of Glossybox put together.
I was absolutely excited about the products in this box, because I am already familiar with 4 of the 6 brands, and also very pleased with other products of these brands.

Zoeva – Forever Eye Crayon

This eye shadow pencil is a beautiful color, it is gray/green with a little golden sparkle in it. Definitely nice for a night out, since I don’t wear any eye shadow myself, I probably will make my best friend really happy with this one.

Garnier – Miracle Skin Perfector

A day cream and foundation in one with a sun protection, what more do you want? I was already familiar with the product, because of the commercials with Yfke Sturm, a Dutch supermodel. Ideal for the summer days, because then you really don’t want to wear a heavy foundation. I am a instant fan, because I already have a Garnier day cream which is also really light like this one. And for hot days like today I would rather not wear foundation, but wear BB cream instead.

John Frieda – Full Repair Perfect Ends Deep Infusion

I am the number one user of John Frieda products, so of course this was my number one favorite. And ideal for me, because it is a repair serum for overstyled hair (read: hair dryer, straightener). The texture is liquid which is good for applying on to the washed and wet hair.

Dr. van der Hoog – Purity cleaning wipes

Which girl doesn’t have enough cleaning wipes? I bring these babies everywhere I go, especially on day or weekend trips and holidays. You can take them on to the plane and clean absolutely everything with them, even stains in your clothes! These cleaning wipes from Dr. van der Hoog are ideal, they are quite firm and smell nice (not to strong). But most of all they don’t leave a pulling sensation on your face afterwards.

NO-AD – Aftersun Lotion

So I like the idea of putting a aftersun lotion in the May box. I am unfamiliar with the brand. I like the texture of the lotion and it feels really soft and fresh on your skin, but I wouldn’t use it. I just don’t like the smell of the product, so I wouldn’t cover my whole body in it.

Max Factor – Masterpiece Max High Volume & Definition Mascara

This one was a new experience for me. I never use Max Faxtor products, but I know the brand. I normally don’t like mascara’s whit a prickly brush, but I have to disagree with myself. This one is phenomenal, it opens up my eyelashes more than my own mascara and it makes them look longer.

I think the box exceeded my expectations. I loved 4 of the 6 products and will for sure start using these products and maybe even buy them in the future.

What do you think about the Glossybox?

Inspiration / June

Since, I wasn’t able to bring back any of my Barcelona list items. I made a new inspiration list, which involves different styles from different wishlists of the last month. I treid to think about what I really want and need, which is good for me, since then I don’t spend to much money on things I didn’t want to buy anyway…

The trends and styles I am looking for are:

*T-shirts with print
*Pastels (especially mint green)
*Coloured jeans
*Strappy sandals
*Golden jewelry
*Orange items

What is on your wishlist for the next month?

Diary / week 21

Another weekend has past, but what a beautifull weekend. Finally the sun came out, I love it!

1. all about food this weekend. On Friday I made my own cupcakes and decorated them.
2. Here is the result, I know I am not a pro!
3. Dutch Limbourgian cake, yum this is the best. Home sweet home.
4. Finally I could where my new Michael Kors sunnies, together with my boyfriend in the picture…
5. Here they are in the Michael Kors box. I adore them.
6. Back at work, but wearing my peeptoe heels…yesss!

Can’t wait for more sun, more peeptoe heels, shirts, blouses, sunglasses and no with coats or jackets…

What are you wearing out in the sun today?

New in / Perforated jacket and lace…

The new trend is all about perforated items. I bought this beige jacket (which is also sleeveless) at Stradivarius in Barcelona.

And it’s still about lace. Everywhere I go I see lace in all forms and shapes. Lace has been a trend for a while now, but I definantly think it’s still about lace. Lace is romantic and makes every outfit look more summery, I love. I bought these new lace items at Blanco and Bershka in Barcelona.

So last week I decided to ‘do-it-myself’ and transform my jeans with rather big holes into a lace item. Here is what I did…

1. Buy lace from the fabric market for only 2,50 euros.
2. Cut the lace and adjust it to the seams on the inside of the jeans, so it will cover the holes. Make a extra stitch around the holes..
3. Voila, your jeans has been transformed into a lace item within 15 minutes..and ready to wear again.

Since I been collecting laces items and probably have over 10 items in my closet with lace. How many do you have?

Diary / From Barcelona with love

This weekend my girlfriends and myself visited Barcelona. To do some serious shopping, relaxing and of course get some sun. As in Holland it is still raining and very cold, we where really happy to get away for the weekend.

Here is my weekend instragram/photo diary from Barcelona with love.

1. Our view from the apartment, the Sagrada Familia
2. Barceloneta beach on a 10 minute walk from the apartment
3. Just 1/4 of our shoe gallery
4. Serious shopping at Diagonal Mar shopping centre
5. My new items…

Beige perforated jacket – Stradivarius
Butterfly shirt – Bershka
Black flower blouse – Primark
Lace vest – Blanco
White sweater with blue lace – Bershka
White blouse – Blanco
Blue wedges – Pull&Bear

I did find the mintgreen shirt of H&M to short, so I bought mintgreen nail polish. I didn’t find any statement necklaces or kimono’s I liked. The one thing I did bought of my Barcelona wishlist (beige perforated jacket with no sleeves – sleeveless trend). More about this in my new post. Now I’ll have to do some online shopping again…

6. View on Barcelona from the cable cart

We visited Barcelona twice now, next year we would love to visit Madrid or Florence, where would you go for a girls weekend?

Inspiration / 5 summer favorites

Before I am leaving for a well deserved holiday to Barcelona. Here are my 5 summer favorites, which will be on my Barcelona wish list to bring back home.

1. I have been looking for a kimono since I’ve been to Australia in december. Finally H&M came out with some amazing pairs, but they are not (yet) available in the Netherlands arrrggghh hopefully they have them in Spain, fingers crossed!

2. Nailpolish, in every color possible.

3. I had my eye on this mint green shirt from H&M for a while, I would love to add some mint green items to my wardrobe.

4. Statement necklaces, I love these from H&M.

5. Last but not least, I’ve been in love with sleeveless items since I read the blog of Cindy van der Heyden, come over to the dark side we have candy (COTTDS) about this trend. She is absolutly one of my favorite fashion bloggers. She bought this sleeveless trenchcoat at the Primark.

My number one will be the kimono, which one is your favorite?

What’s new / handmade and vintage online shop

What else to do on a night like this then visiting all your favorite online shops?

Lately I found a new one, which is great! Etsy, is a handmade and vintage online shop. You’ll find more than fashion items and accessories on this online shop and of course unique but affordable. Here a few of my favorite items.

They are all on my wish list from now, but I need to be quick they are unique items. Check it out and let me know what do you think about the Etsy online shop?

Diary / week 19

I decided to do another weekend photo diary, since a lot of people liked the last one. So here is a quick view into my weekend.
