Inspiration / Original vs. Budget #1

I promised you to make a original vs. budget post. Why buy the real thing when there are lovely fakes. Not everyone can spend a $1000/800 euro on a bag or a pair of shoes. Today I am doing a shoes only version. I think I will give this post some other tries with other items.

Here are my shoebudgettips for the moment:

Isabel Marant wedge sneakers 450 euro’s vs. Zara wedge sneakers 60 euro’s.

Sam Edelman metallic heels 150 euro vs. Zara reflector heels for 40 euro’s.
Remember Sam Edelman came out with a knock-off from the Balenciaga shoe boot in 2009. Now others try to knock-off Sam Edelman and more winterproof anyway.

Chloe boots for 905 euro vs. Zara boots for 100 euro’s.

Do you now understand why I love the Zara so much?
I hope you liked this post? Please let me know in a comment below.

Inspiration / Berlin

This is my 50’s post! I have over 50 followers! Yay, 4 months in the running and standing strong ;)…

Well, back to bloggin’
Only 3 more days untill we leave to visit Berlin. Although it is only 624km to Berlin I have never been there, but wanting for a whole lot of years. Not only is Berlin trending and full of interesting/inspirational people. This city has a history like no other city in the world.

As most of you know Berlin was the epicentrum during World War II and afterwards divided in West and East Berlin untill 1989. That is 50 years of differences, poor and rich, suppression and pure history.

Ofcourse, being Dutch I have been brougthup with stories about World War II and everything that changed after. Also first hand by my grandparents, who all live through this awfull time, but in school this was one of the main subjects during history lessons.

Logically, I need to be visiting the Holocaust Museum, checkpoint Charlie, what is left of the Berlin wall and so on…but today I want to share with you some trendy spots in Berlin which are on my list to visit. I put together a day programme, all credits go to Petite Passport.

Inspiration / Autumn green

Finally it is summer and the sun is shining and I am daydreaming about all these fab military green fashion items, wishing it was Autumn already.

Here is a litlle inspiration for the fall already

1. Trendy taste showing us military green is also summerproof, shirt by Blanco.
2. Trendy taste again this time wearing a Parka by Queen’s Wardrobe.
3. Come over to the dark side, wearing a Parka jacket by Zara.
4. Billierose wearing a green leopard scarf.

Do you think military green is for summer?

Inspiration / Tye die jeans

I stumbled upon two tye die jeans while reading my favorite blogs. Here they are

1. Moderosa, wearing a beautifull tye die jeans which is dark/light blue
2. Come over to the dark side we have candy (COTTDS), wearing a more light tye die jeans.

I thought to myself why not make it a DIY (do it yourself) project.
So here is the result. I am very pleased, although I was aiming for the ones on top, I got a mixed version of both photos above. If you want to do it yourself, follow a You Tube tutorial it is quite easy.

What do you think about tye die jeans? Are they back in fashion? Or would you not be seen in them?

Inspiration / Kirsten Stewart

I decided to only do a diary once a month as from now, so no diary today but a fashion blogpost.

I really needed to do a article about Kirsten Stewart. Let me be honoust, I haven’t been a fan of her since the beginning. I always thought she was a bit smudy. No offense!

But since a little while I am starting to love her. What I exactly love about her? I’ll show you…

She still loves her sneakers, skinny jeans, t-shirt and casual jacket, but so do I.
I wouldn’t want to wear dresses everyday. I really like she is now combing and washing her hair, and making differents pony tials, buns or braids to spice up the look. Don’t forgetting she is wearing make-up with the casual look once in a while. So go Kirsten!

I really loved her casual look she worn to the MTV movie awards sneak peak week 2012.

She is wearing Balenciaga skinny jeans and leather jacket, Joe Jeans shirt, vintage Cartier necklace and FRYE sneakers.

At the MTV movie awards 2012 she chose the neon trend, which I think is perfect for the MTV event.

She is wearing a Guishem dress and Louboutin heels, which girl didn’t want to own a pair of those 🙂

Here a two more classic looks I like of her.
This is at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2012

She is wearing a fabulous Stella McCartney dress and Barbara Bui heels. The blue shoes makes the whole outfit more playfull, great for the kids event. I love she didn’t chose a ultrashort dress and only shows of the legs to make it more appropriate. I adore the pony tail.

Here is Kirsten Stewart at the photocall for her new movie Snow white and the Huntsman in Madrid, Spain.

The warrior look is perfect for the event. She is wearing a BCBG Max Azria dress and Christian Louboutin heels. The braid finish it off.

I really think Kirsten is stepping up her game and she is a new inspiration to me.
Oh, and don’t forget she is with one of the sexiest man on earth, Robert Pattinson and they won the MTV movie award for best kiss for the fourth time.

Here is Robert on the Russian GQ cover, love the new haircut.

What do you think about Kirsten Stewart and her style?
